The proposal of the workshop was to develop a place for permanent tourism on marshy land near Jesolo (in contrast to the nearby summer tourism) offering a holiday in contact with nature.
The constructive solutions had to be minimally invasive with respect to the natural environment.
The slogan "Sky Land Sea" refers to the various interventions, recalling the primitive forms of housing, constructed on stilts over the sea, tree houses and buildings constructed of clay bricks.
Each type of construction has a different function: ecological observatories, workshops for artists and more stable service blocks. They together constitute small villages with gardens, markets and craft activities.
