Architectural drawingdrd

I year IUAV, prof. Giuseppe D'Acunto

Church of San Lorenzo (Florence)

The course dealt with the main representation techniques for architectural design. Each student had to re-draft a Renaissance architectural building, and the object of my study was the Church of San Lorenzo in Florence, designed by Filippo Brunelleschi.

The drawings show the redesign of the plan, the main facade and cross sections, from which a cross-section isometric was made. The exercise also required us to identify the proportional relationships of the Church, which were common in Renaissance architecture.
